Eventually, we aim to collaborate with auto manufacturers to take safety one step further. When the system detects gas buildup, it could automatically send a signal to the vehicle to shut off the engine, preventing further carbon monoxide emission. By integrating with existing automotive apps such as the MyLincoln Way App and leveraging their APIs and webhooks, Garage Safe could remotely trigger a shutdown command when dangerous gas levels are detected — combining smart home technology with automotive safety.
